End User License Agreement (EULA)

Effective date: July 20, 2026

1. Acknowledgment

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is entered into between you (the "End User") and Natural Apps (the "Developer") only. Apple is not a party to this EULA and assumes no responsibility for the Application or its content. This EULA shall contain no provisions in conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions in force at the time of release.

2. Acceptance of the Agreement

By downloading, installing or using the Tides Pro application (the "Application") on iPhone or Apple Watch, you agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree with any of its terms, do not use the Application.

3. Definitions

  • Application: the Tides Pro tide, weather and astronomy prediction software for iPhone and Apple Watch, provided by Natural Apps.
  • End User or You: the person who downloads, installs or uses the Application.
  • Predictions: the tide, coefficient, index, weather and astronomy data the Application computes or displays.

4. Permitted Use

Subject to your compliance with this EULA, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Download, install and use the Application on Apple devices that you own or control.
  • Consult the Predictions for your personal, non-commercial use.

5. Restrictions

Unless you have prior written permission, you may not:

  • Sell, rent, lease, distribute, transmit, host or commercially exploit the Application or its Predictions.
  • Scrape, bulk-collect or redistribute the Application's data.
  • Copy, reproduce, modify, decrypt, decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer or attempt to obtain the source code of the Application.
  • Use the Application for purposes other than the permitted use described above.

Any unauthorized use terminates this license immediately.

6. Maritime safety notice ⚠️

The Predictions are informational, generated with mathematical models (FES2022b harmonic analysis) that carry a margin of error — larger inside rias and estuaries, as the Application itself indicates.

The Application is not a navigation instrument or a safety device. It does not replace official nautical publications (hydrographic institutes), notices to mariners, or the judgment of a responsible skipper. Do not base decisions affecting the safety of people or vessels solely on the Application: always check official sources and actual sea conditions.

7. Data and scientific models

Tide Predictions are computed on your device using global oceanographic models (FES2022b and GOT), used under their respective scientific licenses. Weather forecasts come from Apple Weather and are shown with the corresponding attribution. The Developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or continuous availability of any data.

8. Termination

This license and your right to use the Application terminate automatically if you breach any provision of this EULA. Upon termination, you must stop using the Application and delete all copies on your devices.

9. Maintenance and Support

The Developer is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services for the Application. Apple has no obligation to provide support. You can reach support on the support page.

10. Subscriptions and Payments

The Application is currently free. If premium features are offered in the future through one-time purchase or auto-renewable subscription:

  • The price and what it includes will be clearly shown before you buy.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel it at any time in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
  • Billing is processed by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms; the Developer never sees your payment data.

11. Warranty and Refund

No warranty: the Application is provided "as is" and "as available", without express or implied warranties. Refunds: if the Application fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and request a refund. Apple will have no other warranty obligation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the Developer nor Apple shall be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Application, including loss of profits or data and decisions made based on the Predictions (see section 6). Nothing in this EULA limits rights the law grants you as a consumer.

13. Product Claims

You acknowledge that the Developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to product liability, compliance with legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection law and privacy.

14. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the Application, its design and its brand belong to the Developer or its suppliers. The scientific data models belong to their respective authors and are used under their licenses.

15. Technical Data Collection and Privacy

The handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy. Tides are computed locally on your device; the Application has no accounts and no trackers.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This EULA is governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.

18. Modifications

We may modify this EULA at any time. We will publish the updated version on this page and, for material changes, give at least 30 days' notice. Continued use implies acceptance of the revised version.
